When you're rated as one of the hottest males in Hollywood - you're allowed to take a few risks with your style and image.
But surely nobody anticipated this striking look by Johnny Depp when he showed off his odd new hair colour.
The charming actor, 50, was showing off his bizarre blonde hair on a dinner date in central London with girlfriend Amber Heard.
They enjoyed a super posh dinner at Scotts restaurant in Mayfair - which says it all really if you've ever played Monopoly - and left hand in hand.
It's not often the couple appear in public together since hooking up in 2011.

The three-time Oscar nominee has been dating the actress and model - who is nearly half his age - for two years following the high-profile split from former lover Vanessa Paradis.
Depp fell in love with Heard, 27, on the set of The Rum Diary in Puerto Rico.
Amber, who stars in Machete Kills and Paranoia with Liam Hemsworth, says she had 'a responsibility' not to hide the fact she's bisexual.

Talking about how interested we all are in her relationship, the actress said: 'If I didn't want to be scrutinized, I would have just stayed in Texas.
'It's way easier to do what people expect of you.' That would explain why they've been going a little bit more public - recently, having dinner with Bruce Willis in London .
She adds: 'I have always had very, very good relationships and good breakups. I have never been part of a situation where there was mistrust, or betrayal.

'Going into relationships is just as difficult as coming out of them. I have never been in the situation where the two have overlapped. I can't imagine how difficult that would be.'
'I have had relationships, successful relationships, with men, and I had a great relationship with a wonderful woman,' she said.
'I will never beg for an easy classification or label for that moment in my life, or assume to know what the future holds for me. I have always been and always will be just who I am and I will never fake anything for anyone.'
She continued: 'I am not ever going to be a person who has a desire to expose myself more than I feel. Being a private person made me want to not expose myself any more than I already had.
'But I also felt I had a responsibility to not appear to be in hiding. I watched people around me succumb to hiding and hiding denotes shame.
'I feel, and felt, zero shame. We all love who we love; we don't choose it.'
Which is all very profound.
