Google needs to get their **** together if they want to keep competing. Everyone I know that has an Android carries around an iPod too.
Microsoft has Zune, and it's WP7 phones and Apple has iTunes. Google has to rely on Amazon, and even then the Android MP3 App is by far the worst of the 3.
And the point of your post is?

The inquirer is definitely wrong about this! OS X is a great OS with many features but it needs a lot of work with SMP compared to 64 bit windows and Linux.
In fact, OS X is behind on being a full 64 bit OS as well.
Besides, I wouldn't contradict Aiden if I were you. The man knows of that which he speaks. No kidding. The only time I contradict Aiden is always inadvertant use of my ignorant brain connected to my loose fingers. And Aiden is always happy to correct the error of my ways while I am glad he does.

Any law that tells a physician what they can and can't ask a patient, or who they must treat despite their own personal views - is stupid....
....The hypocrisy from those of you on the left on this issue is pretty clear. If this was the GLBTA trying to pass a similar law regarding homosexuality, etc. you'd have no problem with it.
considering that everybody seems to be agreeing with you on the stupidity of this law, your claim of "hypocrisy" seems completely empty

well with overclocking, if something goes wrong, to fix it, you've gotta go into the BIOS. it will restart as normal, but the problem will keep happening, and it'll keep crashing and restarting
ahh true. you need a remote control hand with a video camera!
i have heard people disabling HT, but not many. i'll just stick to what works for me
hehe ok ok :P the performance gain v power usage increase/stress on CPU is obvious though lol. hope you earn lots of moneys to pay for electricity lol
GPU folding right now only works in windows
blast i read that but was praying for a work around ;)

Ooh the arguments are getting heated up in this thread :D
Thought I'd offer a light refreshment.
What no orange or cherry?
Sure Apple can offer 7 different iPod Nano colors but they can't offer more than 2 different Apple Kool Aid flavors?!?!?

What particular features is Mac OS X missing that Windows 7 has?
The Windows task bar is now by far much better with the addition of aero peek
Networking, its easier, faster and generally better then dealing with OSX
In general though I think apple needs to add features to catch up because MS has caught up and surpassed apple with windows 7.
I guess the bottom line for me is this: I see Microsoft working hard and adding features, to improve the OS. I see apple working hard at making OSX act more like an iPad. I also think given that they really didn't provide the consumer features in 10.6 that they should have done that in 10.7. Its not like they didn't have time, given that SL was released in 2009

From the article ...
After passage in the Democratic-controlled Assembly and singing by Gov. Jerry Brown, both of which seem likely, California would become the first state to make curricula include notable gay Americans along with the contributions of women and various ethnic groups.
Shaun Travers, a San Diego activist, told San Diego 6: "It's very important that we represent all of California and that includes the LGBT community. Our people and our history."
But opponents said the move would add non-essential material to already-short instruction time.
Hmmm ... they don't seem to share that same concern when it comes to teaching Creationism in science class.
Honestly, there isn't enough time, we are rushing through WWII to know it before the CST. I also don't remember people pushing creationism in California

I am missing the argument here.... I never meant to be seen as defending "3gsiphone" or whatever that guys name is.... Because his words WERE rude and innapropriate and discriminatory. Damn right they were.
I appreciate that, I still disagree.
The medical and legal community still is not on your side
My birth certificate, my medical notes, and all my documentation is noted down as female, in medical terms I'm classed as a transsexual female, that's how we're referred to in scientific papers and similarly that's how I'm classified legally, bar the transsexual part as it has no legal significance.
There are many kinds of female/male, as I pointed out, your oversimplified view is simply not applicable to the reality we live in. Everyone has female/male aspects, picking the ones you think "count" is as I've said a few times, naive.

...the more I think about it, the more I don't see why iTunes wouldn't play the compatible Fairplay songs. Apple can't make any major changes to the existing DRM in files to break compatible Fairplay files.... since they would have then have to reencode all of those files sitting on people's hard drives.
arn
Maybe Apple could do a Fairplay "freeze" where all Fairplay v2 media purchased after a certain date is deemed invalid by iPod + iTunes.
Not that Apple would automatically do such a thing...way I see it, we're all heading towards murky waters as crappy tech companies (Real, Microsoft, etc.) try to jam their way into Apple's iPod + iTunes ecosphere.

All you have shown is a deep-seated fear of advertising. And it's been stated that Apple doesn't actually collect this data, so it isn't even being used for iAds.
How exactly, specifically, will this cell phone tower tracking info compromise your personal safety? What exactly is there to fear? There must be something more than targeted advertising, which is at best an annoyance you have to live with anyway.
This really isn't related to Windows 8, but...
iPhone tracking and storing users' locations isn't really a surprise, nor is it worrying. What is an eye opener is that when Google was asked about the same thing, they gave an immediate response and explained how their phones work. Why hasn't Apple done this?

Why is Apple the only tech company that makes unique products? All the other big ones seem to just drop in behind Apple after they invent something... Examples:
•Phones that are designed to simply compete with the iPhone.
•Pretty much every non-Apple tablet.
•iMac lookalikes.
•I've even seem some unibody copy cats...
Why don't they try and come up with something of their own instead of trying to "make a better Apple product"? Its annoying...
LOL - you make it sound like everyone else just copies Apple: Other companies are inventive, for example, the company behind Kinetic, or Nintendo ( first 3d game system not requiring glasses ), or Amazon for making the first popular ebook reader device, or sony
Apple are highly visible and of course, they do make innovative products but I wouldn't go as far to say "the only company".

The games that were stolen were:
Crackdown
Dead or Alive 4
Dead Rising
Gears of War
Oblivion Collector's Edition (but they left the box on the shelf  )
Perfect Dark Zero Collector's Edition
I've been keeping an eye on my local Craigslist and hit up eBay a couple times as well. I live in Tallahassee, FL and the zip is 32310.
