Fior di Loto by Tesori d' Oriente

Clementina by Precyz

Sweet, warm, and earthy are the first three words I'd use to describe this perfume. It has a smokiness to it that may be likened to a rich spa based cream, and thus it's not surprising that this scent is a mixture of two classically popular SPA scents and ingredients - Lotus Flower & Shea Butter. The combination creates a dynamism that is rustic but pretty, sweet but also slightly bitterish and raw. If this scent had its own desert - taking the packaging and its vibe into consideration - it would be a dark cacao bitterish dense mousse with a mild sweetness brought on from mild flecks of sugar cane infused flakes of vanilla ... In other words, this perfume smells like the trappings of a rich and deluxe life.

Notes - Lotus Flower & Shea Butter (the bottle is so pretty)
I'm not talking about it smelling like a designer perfume or like an opulent fragrance a kept woman would wear as she jets sets across the world ... I'm talking about the scent of just cleaned leather seats, a body after a day of massage treatments, perhaps the scent in the air of the home from your wildest dreams, etc. This scent is captivating but also hard to define as it malts and changes its depth on skin or clothing.

It's an interesting scent that can add to the sweet muskiness to wool but, vibrancy to a cotton-spandex blend top, it can blend seamlessly into your skin to the point of nothingness but, when other perfumes are applied on top - create richer, deeper, and darker tones to once flighty perfumes.  Yet, there's something aloof about it - there's an unreachable quality to it that is hard to decipher despite how earthy and grounding it may be at its core.

My First Impressions - Since I bought this "nose-blind" (aka I didn't smell it before purchasing it) I had hoped it would be "sensual" in an obnoxiously loud feminine floral honey sweetness type of way but, I was rudely surprised to find it lacking in both obnoxiousness and femininity. Yes, it has earthly sensuality to it but, it's not a very loud perfume, and it would easily work well for those who prefer or like masculine fragrances because it's more "earthy-sweet" than "plain sweet".

Current opinion - I like it. There's something about it which grabs and intrigues me. The bottle is pretty (feels kinda light for 100ml though), it's a cross between a deodorant spray and a perfume that creates a light and cool mist. Whilst it's not my current go-to whenever I'd want to evoke the scent of a pampered and lux life I certainly will add this to my pampering routine.

Where did I buy it? Notino
