Fun and hugs: Doting Olivier Martinez has a beach playdate with Halle Berry's daughter Nahla

He used to be renowned for his reputation as a serial womaniser.

But since striking up a relationship with Hollywood actress Halle Berry, it seems Olivier Martinez has become far more paternal in his ways.

The 45-year-old French actor was spotted playing the role of doting stepdaddy with Halle's three-year-old daughter Nahla.

In a series of touching images, the toddler is seen running towards Olivier with her arms open, before he welcomes her with a hug.

The pair - along with another young child - were also seen playing on the beach in Malibu, running along and playing in the sand.

In one shot, Nahla is seen with a spade in hand, tossing sand into the air as she enjoyed the beautiful California weather.

Clearly the youngster is a big fan of Olivier, who started dating Halle last year following her split from model and Nahla's father Gabriel Aubry.

Nahla has enjoyed spending New Year with her mother and Olivier.

On Saturday, the couple took the tot to a New Year's Eve children's party in Los Angeles.

Afterwards Halle was spotted leaving, carrying her daughter who had a clutch of balloons in hand.

Last week, Nahla spent some time with her daddy Gabriel, with the pair heading out to the parking wearing matching outfits.

Oscar-winner Berry is currently starring in the movie New Year's Eve alongside stars such as Katherine Heigl and Ashton Kutcher.
