I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, I love burning candles. For me, it is one of life’s simple pleasures and I take a lot of comfort from the flickering flame and swirling aroma that fills the room. I could tirelessly wax lyrical (!) about my love for scented candles and I’ve sniffed and burnt my way through many, many candles over the last few years. My enjoyment levels are not necessarily dependant on the price tag, but I have to say that NEOM candles are some of the loveliest scented candles I’ve tried. Even though I was sent this candle, I have previously treated myself to a few of their travel candles and in the process, rightly or wrongly, gotten my mum hooked on them too! Their unique, often heady fragrance hits you the moment you open the box and continues to fragrance the room even before you’ve lit the wicks. I love the simplistic design of Neom’s organic candles, meaning they blend effortlessly into any interior and will burn cleanly for up to 55 hours – which might slightly help justify the £39.50 outlay.
Neom’s latest candle launching this month is Harmonise – made up of a trio of woody yet refreshing essentials oils and layers of green hibiscus notes, it is warm yet reviving. The earthy scents of Pine, Cedarwood and Eucalyptus lead you on a woodland walk and help harmonise your clarity and concentration in moments of unrest and distraction. I think what makes Neom candles so special is the fact they are made from a blend of 100% natural waxes and exquisite essential oils, so they act like an aromatherapuetic treatment as well as filling the air with a stunning scent. They may be indulgent but they really do last forever (well a good 50 hours plus) and are such a soothing, gratifying treat for your room and your senses.
